[In-House] Workplace Ergonomics for Office Workers (half day)

Office Ergonomics refers to the way of designing workstations and interaction between setup with workers to ensure optimum comfort, efficiency as well as productivity. Proper ergonomic design may help to reduce risk factors exposure which is known to contribute towards occupational ergonomic injuries and illnesses or musculoskeletal disorder (MSD). In this training, trainer will highlight on the common ergonomics risk for office workers as well as providing guidance to assist in the computer workstation setup.

[[01] OBJECTIVES

Participants will benefit by being able to:
•Understanding the basic principles of ergonomics and its importance in creating a safe and healthy work environment.
•To understand health effects associated with ergonomics risk factor
•Identifying ergonomic hazards in the workplace, such as repetitive motions, awkward postures, and static & sustained work posture.
•Understanding the importance of proper workstation design, including selecting appropriate furniture and equipment, adjusting workstation height, and positioning computer monitors and keyboards.
•Assessing the risk of injury associated with these hazards and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
