[In-House] Warehouse Safety (1 days)

[In-House] Warehouse Safety (1 days)

Warehouse operations involve a wide range of activities such as receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch, all of which carry inherent safety risks. Common hazards include moving vehicles (e.g. forklifts), manual handling injuries, falling objects, and unsafe storage practices. This training is designed to create awareness of these hazards and to equip employees with the knowledge and skills needed to work safely and efficiently. It also emphasizes compliance with Malaysian legal requirements such as the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, and promotes a proactive safety culture where every worker takes responsibility for their own safety and that of others. A safe, orderly, efficient warehouse is a key to a successful operation. The warehouse plays an essential role in the way goods are sent, received, stored, and circulated throughout the facility. With so much going on and so much to keep track of, a warehouse may also have more potential for accidents than areas with more limited functions. So, it's especially important to pay close attention to safety in the warehouse.
