This is an advanced course for rigging, slinging course for lifting supervisor, which is designed to suit the requirements of the preparation of lifting works, including how handling load, lifting equipment, gears and lifting activities at workplace. The most crucial objective for this course is the process of the calculation of working loads, assessing of the risk and possibilities and the preparation of the lifting plan suitable for the lifting work in a safely manner.

[01] OBJECTIVES

Participants will be benefit by being able to:

  • Understand common hazards with respect to lifting activates
  • Knowing basic safety procedures that can be practiced when assisting the operations of the lifting activities
  • Abilities to assess the risk associated with Lifting Works
  • Preparation of a Lifting Plan, including knowledges of the calculations of loads, handling and other criterias

Qualification

  • Passed Basic TTT with NIOSH
  • Passed Advance TTT with NIOSH
  • Passed Basic Occupational First Aid with NIOSH
  • Registered SHO with DOSH from year 2002 till 2014
  • Passed Forklift Safe Handling and competency
  • Education: Executive Master - Safety Health and Environment
