- Recognize unsafe conditions and practices
- Detect faulty equipment, exposed wiring, and unsafe behaviors.
- Apply safe work procedures
- Follow proper practices including Lockout Tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work systems.
- Use electrical equipment safely
- Apply the hierarchy of controls to reduce electrical risks.
- Respond to electrical emergencies
